Privacy notice

This notice explains how Soft Era Yoga uses the personal information you provide when viewing the website, booking a class or contacting us.

Who controls your information

Soft Era Yoga, the trading name used for these classes, is the data controller. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to soft.era.yoga@outlook.com.

What we collect

  • Your name, email address and optional phone number.
  • The class date you select and your booking reference.
  • Payment status and transaction references supplied by Stripe.
  • Messages you send us about bookings, cancellations or support.
  • Essential technical and security information needed to operate the website.
  • A short-lived, hashed network identifier used to limit automated or abusive booking attempts.

We do not store full card details. Stripe handles card information securely on its payment page.

Why we use it

We use booking and payment information to provide the class you purchase, manage attendance, send confirmations, process refunds and answer questions. This is necessary to perform our contract with you. We may also keep limited records to meet legal, accounting and fraud-prevention obligations and to protect our legitimate business interests.

We will only send optional marketing when we have a valid basis to do so, and you can opt out at any time.

Who receives it

Information may be processed by trusted services that operate the website, booking database, payment checkout and booking emails. This includes Cloudflare for website hosting and security, Stripe for payments and Resend for booking emails. We do not sell your personal information.

How long we keep it

Booking and payment records may be retained for up to six years where needed for tax, accounting or legal records. Routine enquiries are normally deleted sooner when no longer needed. Hashed anti-abuse records are kept only for short-term booking security and are regularly pruned as part of booking activity.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your information, or object to how it is used. Email us to make a request. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

The website uses only essential functions needed for site security, sign-in to the private admin area and the booking journey. Optional analytics or marketing cookies will not be added without updating this notice and requesting consent where required.
